Two broken boys. One dorm room. Can they help each other heal, or will they stay forever fractured?
Ever have someone get you so well that it's like looking in a mirror? That's what I think of when I look at Liam. I might as well be looking at myself from a few months ago. Broken and jaded.
But I've come out the other side, mostly, and I'm finally in a good place. I figure if I did it, so can he. So, I make it my mission to befriend him.
Predictably, he doesn't make it easy. But I'm persistent. And then he suffers a minor accident. One that results in me having to give him a helping hand in ways I never expected. Ways that make me think I may not be as broken as I thought.
To say I'm confused is an understatement, but there's one thing I know for certain. Liam is the key to one door and the bolt that could prevent another from ever opening. And I have to choose which I want him to be.
Beautifully Fractured is a high-heat MM romance with medium angst that features a grumpy/sunshine relationship, forced proximity, hurt/comfort situations, and a sexual awakening. This is book one in a series of interconnected standalones. Though the main characters are athletes, sports are not a major plot point in this book, so this isn't considered a sports romance. Rather, it's a romance that happens to feature people who play sports.

Unfortunately, the ending felt way too rushed. The story had such a good pace, and then everything suddenly happened too fast. Some things were left unresolved, which really bothered me. It wasn’t a cliffhanger, but I still wanted more closure. I want to know what happens, not imagine it. 😒😂
Overall, I really enjoyed the story and especially the chemistry, but the rushed ending lowered it from a solid 4/5 to a 3/5.
Good story, very solid but the end was rushed
