Okay, this is for all five Adrien English mysteries:

This is one of the best series in the genre. You can't read only one of the books, they have a single well crafted and unique mystery plot in each one, but the love story spreads over all five books and is everything, from hot to bittersweet to heartbreaking and ...uff...in the end so good.

Chris Patton is the perfect choice for Adrien.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

This is a "classic" already

Ich habe jetzt innerhalb von zwei Wochen alle fünf Romane der Adrien English Reihe gehört und/oder gelesen. Das sagt bereits viel darüber aus, wie süchtig machend die Buchreihe für mich war. Das letzte Buch fand ich in jeder Hinsicht gelungen. Ich persönlich fand den Kriminalfall, auch wenn er bereits 50 Jahre zurück lag, am spannendsten. Ich bin weder auf den Täter noch auf den Hintergrund der Tat gekommen und last but not least hat er zu einem sehr runden und gelungenen Ende der Geschichte beigetragen. Das Ende habe ich in jeder Hinsicht als zufrieden stellend empfunden.
Chris Patton hat wieder sehr gut gelesen. Besonders sein "Jake Reardon" war wie eigentlich bei allen Teilen sehr gelungen.
