In the introduction, Jeremie mentions there is a need for re-establishing base communication and relational trust. Having Sherpas in the organization is the key. As a Sherpa goes, so goes the team. As a team goes, so goes the organization. If you want to fix your culture, it will take a minimum of three years to put the systems in place. Once you do, though, it will last you 10+ years. You'll create a culture of empowerment instead of just compliance.

The culture within an organization needs to be living out their values. In other words, LIVE what you're selling!

So, if you are leading an organization, "What are you selling to your employees?" It's not a one-and done. It must be an on-going living out of your values.

Charlie says the GiANT tools that have had the most profound impact on him are the Know Yourself to Lead Yourself tool and the 5 Circles of Influence tool. Charlie mentions that he has become more intentional with his family now that he has learned more about his own tendencies.  He "protects" his calendar to make sure he puts emphasis on those he loves.
