Inhaltsangabe

Random House presents the audiobook edition of The Visitor by Lee Child, read by Jeff Harding.

Sergeant Amy Callan and Lieutenant Caroline Cooke have a lot in common.

Both were army highflyers. Both were acquainted with Jack Reacher. Both were forced to resign from the service.

Now they're both dead.

Found in their own homes, naked, in a bath full of paint.

Apparent victims of an army man. A loner, a smart guy with a score to settle, a ruthless vigilante.

A man just like Jack Reacher.

Remake of „Running blind“ from 2012

I downloaded „The visitor“ expecting a new Jack Reacher because of the title being unknown to me and the release date being November 2017.
But when I started listening, I immediately recognized the story. I feel deceived because I had the audiobook from 2012 called „Running blind“ already downloaded. They just changed the title, with no hint that the story was already narrated by Jonathan McClain in 2012.
I spent a credit for the book I would now like to return knowing I do not listen to the story a second time.
