A crime story. A love story. More than 2 million copies sold worldwide.

And now a major 10-part MGM TV series starring Patrick Dempsey and Ben Schnetzer.

August 30, 1975. The day of the disappearance. The day Somerset, New Hampshire, lost its innocence.

That summer, struggling author Harry Quebert fell in love with 15-year-old Nola Kellergan. Thirty-three years later, her body is dug up from his yard, along with a manuscript copy of the novel that made him a household name. Quebert is the only suspect.

Marcus Goldman - Quebert's most gifted protégé - throws off his writer's block to clear his mentor's name. Solving the case and penning a new best seller soon merge into one. As his book begins to take on a life of its own, the nation is gripped by the mystery of 'The Girl Who Touched the Heart of America'.

But with Nola, in death as in life, nothing is ever as it seems.

    Gähnend langweilig

Die Geschichte ist überkonstruiert und überlang erzählt. Mir hat es gar nicht gefallen.... verschwendete 20 Stunden😝

    Superb

Knowing the Author's works I knew what to expect. Great storytelling and narration. Extremely satisfactory. Windings and twists were well depicted. Playing the "times", intertwininig past and present very well done. The narrator was more than convincing, credible and inspiring. This audiobook is worth every minute!

    Amazing 🙌🏻

If any of his other books are slightly as good as this one, then I found myself a new favorite author 🙏🏻

    thumbs down

This is the worst book that I have ever heard and does not even deserve one star. I had difficulty going on hearing it. The storyline, the dialogues are so bad, I wonder how this book got printed. The last words were really uncanny. Those who already heard them will know what I mean. I was glad the book was over!!!
