Best romantic novel that I have listened to in my life - that was actually not a romantic novel but a book about life and the deeper sense of it. It is written so well. I didn‘t expect the funny conversations, the character depth nor that I‘d even cry a couple of times. Truly a beautiful book. Highly recommend.

Loved the story. Only picked it up because it was recommended so often to me. Don’t regret it at all. I‘m happy I knew basically nothing about the book. Made it even more interesting and eye-opening at times. I have to say I’m a bit disappointed by the narration though. In my version you could hear that some sentences were edited later on and a different voice spoke the words in a different tone and volume.

So worth it!

Best book I read for a long time

I picked this up expecting a light romantic comedy, but it took me by surprise. The premise is darker than I anticipated, yet the author manages to handle it with humour and sensitivity. You can really feel the weight lifting gradually as the story unfolds—it’s almost poetic. The romance also avoids the usual clichés often found in this genre. A surprising, fun read that still manages to be thoughtful.
