I really love Martin Freemans voice and how he blows life into the characters. But compared to Stephen Fry who read the first book The Restaurant at the End of the Universe sometimes sounds a little flat to me. Plus, the characters have obviously different voices and styles (Zaphod Beeblebrox sounds like an italian gangster) which you have to get used to. Apart from that and the fact that the story doenst really go anywhere until the end I enjoyed it very much!

Das Buch ist sehr gut und eine würdige Fortsetzung zum ersten Teil. Jeder, der beim ersten Teil seine Freude hatte, müsste auch mit diesem Teil seinen Spaß haben. Allerdings empfand ich die Aufzeichnung als sehr Leise, ich musste die Lautstärke sehr hoch drehen, um überhaupt etwas zu verstehen. Auch die Darstellung einiger Charaktere war meiner Meinung nach etwas übertrieben. Vor allem betrifft das den betrunkenen Ford Prefect und den Moderator im Restaurant am ende des Universums. Abgesehen von diesen Kritikpunkten ist die Umsetzung sehr gelungen.

I feel his voice and style are perfect for the narration of this classic work.
Storywise, I don't feel like saying much. If you like geeky things, you probably already know this book, or will like it if you read it now. If you aren't into fun and philosophy and geeky stuff, go look for another book.

Der erste Teil war etwas spannender, aber dennoch ist der zweite Teil extrem gut und durchsetzt von gutem britischem Humor.
