This was my first book by Q. B. Tyler, and it absolutely did not disappoint! After diving into several heavier reads, I was craving something lighter, sexy, and fun—and The Nanny is Off Limits delivered on every front.
The story is a delightful blend of steamy romance and heartwarming moments, with just the right touch of humor and charm. Rowan, the hot and mature single dad lawyer, is the kind of romance hero that’s easy to fall for—steady, emotionally intelligent, and grounded. Eliana, the gorgeous, kind-hearted nanny, was equally lovable. Her sweet interactions with the kids, especially little Sawyer, melted my heart. And speaking of Sawyer—he completely stole the show with his cuteness and hilarious moments.
What really stood out was the refreshing lack of unnecessary drama. The chemistry between Rowan and Eliana sparked naturally, and I appreciated that they both acknowledged their attraction openly. It made the romance feel authentic and satisfying from the start.
And of course, the narration elevated the entire experience. Stephen Dexter is one of my all-time favorite narrators—his voice is expressive, warm, and has that rare ability to draw you into a character’s emotions effortlessly. Audrey Obeyn complemented him beautifully, giving Eliana a voice that was both strong and endearing.
Overall, The Nanny is Off Limits is a 5-star rom-com audiobook that hits all the right notes—fun, flirty, feel-good, and sexy. I already can’t wait for River’s story!
