Great Book
I had to warm up to the Accents... but in the end it was really worth it. I may have shed a few tears towards the end.. I loved it!! Just the way he calls her "cookie" makes my insides melt...

Wow this was absolutely amazing
First of all the book is well written with a lot of funny scenes in there and the love story is really sweet. But the narrators brought it to life! It is one of the best audio books I ever listened to. I HIGHLY recommend if you are in any way into spicy romance novels with a good strong storyline!

Very disappointing
In theory I should have loved this book. The plot outline is exactly the sort of story I like but it was terribly written, awkward, stilted, and cringe worthy.
The writing style was frustratingly simple and stilled. Too much telling and next to no showing in terms of feelings or story development.
It was also painfully awkward to read, not remotely based in anything close to reality and the endless body shaming and complete lack of self confidence in the heroine really grated on the nerves.
The speakers were decent but the terrible story let them down.
After struggling through the first 12 chapters I gave up. I didn't even bother waiting for the first sex scene I was so irritated. First story I haven't finished in years.

One dimensional& sometimes a bit to unrealistic
some parts were just way to unrealitic. or just writen in an unrealitic way(like the dream she had - that did not feel like a dream) and her insecuretys are so huge they basically are the core of her personallty (which makes her a very one dimensional charakter) and quite francly anoying bacause she dosent even belive anyone ever that she is beautiful (they basically say it a millon times in the book )

A trivial story with an hysterical female voice
I had Problems to concentrate myself with the love story, because the female voice for Freya was extremely hysterical, shouting and screaming even for banal reasons.
I love this kind of romance, but I couldn't warm up with Freya, maybe due to her hysterical and superficial character on top of a London accent that requires getting used to... Furthermore she has a toxic relationship with herself and Mac. Just the Sex was fine.
The male character Mac was loveable and the the narrator has a wonderful voice and did a great job. Surprisingly his Scottish Accent wasn't annoying, but sexy. Unfortunately he wasn't the protagonist of the audiobook and, him and the good sex, wasn't enough to like this trivial story.
I just found 25% of the book enjoyable and I was happy when the audiobook finished.
