First of all i wanna say that in did enjoy listening to the audiobook but if im being honest, the story has a few plot holes and is just not really… good. It was still kinda fun tho because i found some things to be just utterly ridiculous. What really bothered me tho was the pronunciation of the italian words and names. It would have been soo mucb better if for example the male protagonist sounded at least slightly italian. Anyway i think all in all, it could have just been better or maybe im just overly critical. XOXO

Unfortunately, the narration ruined the experience for me. Macie Miller’s performance sounded flat and artificial, almost like AI-generated speech. It was very difficult to stay immersed or listen for long.

Ich finde die Tonlage der Sprecherin sehr anstrengend. Dabei konnte ich mich kaum auf die Geschichte konzentrieren. Wenigstens habe ich dafür kein extra Geld ausgegeben, weil sie im Abo enthalten war. Ich habe sie 4 Stunden gehört, weil mich die Story interessiert hat.

Die Beschreibung der Story hat mich neugierig gemacht. Sprechertonlage ist unangenehm für mich.

I listened to the book out of sheer boredom and I gotta say I wasn’t impressed. Wouldn’t recommend it also because the narrators voice is rather hard to get used to.
