The mother in law’s talk to the bride (who was forced to marry someone she didn’t even know) was so unsettling. “Don’t worry sweetheart, I talked to my son beforehand and told him how to please a woman. Let me know if he didn’t so I’ll talk to him again.” Like …. is this for real?!
And him getting annoyed cause she doesn’t behave the way he wants? Expecting her to be obedient on what grounds? Because he’s a man?! Hell no!
I’m all for dark romance but this is downright ridiculous alpha male behavior to a point where I got angry that a book would support this.
If that’s your jam. Congrats, you found the audio book catering to your preference. It’s not for me.
