The story seemed to be predictable and was nice to meander with. But the twist at the end made it an even nicer whodunnit. The reading of Harriet Walter was outstanding.

The description of the contents is misleading. The only thrill I felt was when hearing the words 'this was' at the book's ending. There is neither thrill nor chill in the book. It just burbles on. The only highlight is the reader. She does a really good job. I don't recommend buying this book. I found it extremely boring.

I could figure out from the beginning the climax. Otherwise I had fun listening to it.

It is too obvious, that the story
was directed by the publishers marketing division than by the imagination of the authors. Lola is extremely exhausting and not at all convincing.Much too much a mocked up story. I felt sorry for the still impressive Frieda, to go through all this. After „make me disappear“ there was no extension possible that could have been convincing. Except the perspective that finally Frieda and Karlsson will become a couple. At least this is my takeaway. Anyway, the Frieda Klein series is exceptional and will for ever remain as a benchmark for great detective stories! This is undoubtedly the case! Kind regards, Eduard
