The main character is not very likeable, but the story is still entertaining and takes some relatively unexpected turns at the end.

The story keeps you hooked

At first I was like „That’s a thriller? More like a YA drama 🙄“ and imo maybe it was. I wasn’t scared at all. I have been simply following the plot BUT the plot twists, which came around the trial part, these were definitely surprising and exciting. So all in all even if it wasn’t what I have been expecting first, I would still recommend it.

In the beginning it was quite promising. But then some plot twists were a bit too out there for me. And the whole idea that a woman thinks her life and family are in danger but keeps bringing them to school and living a normal life is totally bananas. Also what was up with her husband? He only got mentioned once or so and did not add to the story at all. Ending was a bit out there, as well. Feels like the author lost the plotline towards the end. Still a pleasant enough listening experience over all.

I could picture the happenings very well and the twists were not to be obviously, so tge captivating plot, which was read fine, kept me hearing it through.
