Über diesen Titel

The System has taken the Earth, but all is not lost.

With the advantage of the mix-up of starting in the Dungeon, Randidly has been able to found a Village for survivors to gather. With their growing forces, they've begun to nurture other outposts of humanity, teaching them the hard-earned lessons he paid for in blood and sweat.

Yet the tests thrown at them by the System are not yet done.

The Village's tribulation lurks in nearby Turtletown, fleeing a direct confrontation and wearing many faces. Hordes of monsters gather, preparing to strike when they least expect it. Most worryingly, unsavory characters begin to emerge from amongst the survivors, taking advantage of the chaos to benefit themselves.

Amidst this storm, a message comes from Shal. Randidly's teacher needs his assistance to protect the legacy of his family. With the help of Lyra Silver, he hatches a daring plan to finally catch the slippery Tribulation, once and for all.

Because even if it takes him to an alien world and requires him to trust the safety of the Village to other survivors, Randidly Ghosthound always pays his debts.

training arc for the MC mostly...a bit too much broding all the time.... goes into pre tournament qualifyer .. kills people master sees it ...no comment.. kills a guard ...yep that's for the plan no problem...kills a guard while fleeing.... big nono.. really? and then the power gap.... I get that a new world isn't as good as an already integrated one ... but this gap ridiculous I mean he trains in the first half like crazy ( defeated a tribulation solo / fought a judgment and a tribulation together and wins gets into shals world and is an in ok lvl but gets told well your skill levels is 50 to 100 points to low.....so now it's a training arc again .... 20 hours out of 25 hours is training ( felt like it)

Soo ..... disappointing

und gut in einem. Schlechtes Timing bei Wechsel zerstört Spannung. Die Entscheidungen werden dumm wenn es nicht anders in die Geschichte passt usw. Das Buch könnte leicht 5* sein.

Der Autor ist schlecht

I like the idea of the socially inept but powerful protagonist in a game world.
I dislike that the protagonist loses his own traits sometimes so the story can go in a random direct just to get that trait back the next time story has a scene where it wants to showcase his character traits.
I despise how the protagonist isn't willing to kill blatantly evil ppl and the story makes it seem as if that is a decision normal for the world before the system even though depending on the country these evil ppl will either be killed or put in prison until they die.
I hate how the story emphasizes that the protagonists unstoppable work ethic and unwillingness to back down are what push him forward but then when it really counts he's dodging, running away and pushing his problems away.

Things like the starved ppl attacking the protagonist even though it's obvious that they don't stand a chance or that the ppl the protagonist saved then run away from him are just annoying, don't make sense and are obviously just there to attack the protagonists psyche.

The story is dangerously close to making the protagonist obsolete by implying that all his decisions are controlled by another being.

interesting concept, worsening implementation

There was certainly some potential in this series back in book 1. However, basically the entirety of book 2 can get be summarized as the author being way too in love with his power system, constantly going into minute detail over shit that makes little sense with what is actually given to the audience. Almost the entirety of this book is a massive training arc.

And dear lord the MC and his teacher. They're both complete goddamn idiots. Randidly is apparently too fucking stupid and weak willed to just demand a real conversation, while his supposedly intelligent teacher misses all the obvious signs that his student is more than he appears. That while Randidly is also becoming more and more callous to violence and becoming less human by the chapter, yet that's framed as something positive?

Save your credits and go elsewhere. This series nosedived faster than a plane crash.

Self-indulgent Schlock

I liked the first book, but all the MC does in this one is training.
Meanwhile the side characters have interesting
Story arcs, the story returning way too often back to him swinging his spear to gain points.

Everyone is just too timid and clueless and let themselves get pushed around by outsiders.

MC takes no responsibility whatsoever and lets others deal with the consequences but whines internally all the time about the responsibility he has.
I had high hopes for this but was let down.

MC should be a side character
