This book is wonderful for understanding the female brain and female hormones at different stages in life. The author uses very interesting comparisons between the male and female brains to illuminate gender differences in behavior.
I only wish I had discovered this book sooner. It should be required reading in schools.

Interesting but the interpretation of her findings are female centric and therefore a bit off

The book tries hard to sell its message. To do so the author is not afraid by missuse and misinterpret or just outright invent scientific facts or plainly use very biased anecdotes. I was skeptical when I read it for the first time as some of the mentioned studies/facts were familiar to me already and other authors had interpreted them differently. Listening to the gendered brain and other books afterwards made the existence and makeup of this book really questionable for me even more.
