I chose that book, because I love the movies and finally was curious about the original. But honestly the reading voice was really annoying in my opinion, the kind of reading the voices. The story wasn't as deep and amusing as the movie. So, it wasn't bad, bad ok.

The Movie is much better

Knowing the movie, I expected a rather shallow story. But the writing style is surprisingly witty and entertaining. The plot is deeper than the movie adaptation, with Andy's personal life being more elaborate, and the rising issues with her family and friends are more developed and authentic.
