If you have seen the Netflix series and want to find out something more about Anna you will not. There is surpriaingly little extra info. I am happy the author found a way to make something good oht if this. If you are interested in that particular character (Rachel) you will find out more, particularly about her upbringing. Its an easy audiobook to listen to and she read very well considering it's not her usual job.

Nothing new if you have seen 'inventing Anna'

I really liked to hear Rachel’s side of the story. How easy it is to fall into someone’s trap. We all think, this would never ever happen to us. It can sneak up on you. It was important to hear the details of how the story unfolded after having watched the show about Anna on Netflix. Things became more clear. Definitely a good read or listen.

An honest account

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this book, however, is not about Anna at all. It is simply a very long description of how the author tried to get the money for the Morocco trip back from Anna. There is no information about Anna‘s background or how she got started with her scams or any certain of that. The title of the book is misleading, hence the disappointment.
