Ich lese Chris Brookmyre seit 15 Jahren mit größtem Vergnügen und "The Cliff House" bestätigt mich in meinem Vorsatz jedes Brookmyre Buch zu lesen und zu hören, dessen ich habhaft werden kann.
Tolle Sprecherleistung von Sarah Barron, die mich schon in AFAG begeistert hat.

If you like your thrillers intelligent, well plotted and with characters that grow (and some you’ll actually care for), I can highly recommend him! This story takes us on a hen weekend on a remote Scottish island that goes horribly wrong. The slow pace picks up and the suspense and mutual suspicion grows as it emerges how many dark secrets each character had to hide. Very enjoyable and with a satisfying finish.
