Euan Morton delivers convincing accents and allows you to really imagine the old actors playing it out. I particularly enjoyed the Vader performance.

Der Sprecher zeichnet sich durch eine große Vielfalt aus, wodurch einzelne Charaktere gut voneinander unterschieden werden können. Darüber hinaus hat er eine angenehme Stimme, man kann ihm über Stunden zuhören. Insbesondere die charakteristische Art das "r" zu rollen, wie es Peter Cushing zu tun pflegt, hat mir gut gefallen. Einziges Manko: Darth Vader hört sich absolut nicht bedrohlich an, eher wie der gutmütig-geduldige Opa mit ziemlich tiefer Stimme, der einem Kind versucht etwas zu erklären.
Absolut empfehlenswert!

- story about tarkin is really nice and fits great into Star Wars
- relationship between tarkin, sidious and vader is something i would love to see in the next "a Star Wars story" movie
- dont expect lightsaber or blaster battles 24/7, story is more like a part of tarkins biography - and thats what i liked most about it

i recommend to listen to the Darth plagueis Audio book first, both books connect pretty good to each other
finally, if you are a Star Wars fan who is looking for deep story plots rather than pure fighting action, this is an audio book for you
