Großartige Geschichte, genialer Sprecher, aber stellenweise zu laute Geräuschkulisse. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen, und eine perfekte Ergänzung des Star Wars Universums.

Geniales Buch mit kleinen Schwächen

Thrawn glänzt mit taktischem Genie in alter Manier, allerdings ist die Geschichte darüber hinaus ziemlich belanglos und man entwickelt keinerlei Gefühle gegenüber dem Antagonisten. Wer auf Thrawn steht wird hier Spaß haben und seine Lore erweitert kriegen, aber wirklich mitreißen wird die Handlung wahrscheinlich niemand. Schade, weil das Timothy Zahn mit seiner alten Thrawn Trilogie bei mir schaffte.

Auch als Deutscher gut zu verstehen. Kann ich jeden star wars Fan empfehlen. Der sprecher hat mich völlig überzeugt und Thrawn ist einfach der meister Taktiker

Gut verständlich mit Musik und Effekten an den richtigen Stellen. Es wird gut vermittelt wie sich die drei Hauptfiguren entwickeln und wie sie zusammen wirken.
Empfehlenswert auch für die, die Englisch nicht perfekt beherrschen.

After reading the Thrawn trilogy and the Hand of Thrawn I've to say that this is by far the best book. Thrilling story from the beginning and always nice to see the threads that later are picked up by the other Thrawn books. Definitely a recommendation. Hope to see this book will be selected for a Star Wars movie soon!

Mitth'raw'nuruodo is one of the most fascinating Characters in StarWars. Although i was disappointed at first when i realized that the story would not mainly be percieved through Thrawns Eyes, i later on realized that a) The Character of Eli Vanto is great and b) That one can only truly recognoze Thrawns Genius by seeing his plans unfold through the senses of a bystander who does his best to keep up with the genius.
