The book is surprisingly very good. The narrator is one of the best. I enjoyed listening to the book.

I loved everything about it. The characters were were awesome and funny with all their banter.
And the worldbuilding and the story were very well written. I can't wait to continue this series immerdately.

Kommt keine langweile auf, und auch die neben Charaktere sind interessant. Hoffe das im nächsten Buch die Hauptdarsteller auch etwas mehr Zeit miteinander verbringen können

Stephanie Fisher is a superb author and this book is such a strong start to a series. Taly is a strong female character that is also emotionally aware and steeped in common humanity. She has weaknesses that, instead of detracting from her strength, simply make me appreciate more. And her relationship with Skye is just *chef's kiss*. The author was able to captivate and demonstrate a 15yrar relationship as best friends without an over dependence on flashbacks and badgering how heads in.

As for the audio, Elizabeth Evans reads books out loud the way I read them in my head and can there be anything greater than that?

I cannot wait to start the second book!

Sehr empfehlenswert! Fand alles klasse. Sehr gut ausgearbeitete Geschichte und Charaktere. Sehr kurzweilig und auch Humor.

It’s a Romance where the relationship is on a equal level. I love the Romance between them.

The World is thought out and the story sucks you in it’s a really good Romance story better then most other.

positives: best friends to lovers trope was cute
negatives: I can't help it, but I don't like Taly. I felt like she was behaving really weirdly sometimes. Leaving the family that took care of her without saying a word was so ungrateful (she could have at least left a letter). She is always always having this saviour complex where she thinks she is protecting others but she does it without plan and than other people that love her are just suffering because of it. The narrator was good but I didn't like the voice of Sky, because he didn't sound male at all.
