How far is too far when it comes to love?

An amazing sequel

As hoped, Elizabeth Evans comes back with a great reading of Acolyte. I cannot express how happy it make some to hear her read these stories.

As for the story itself, what a great follow-up to the first book. The storylines obviously diverge as our two main characters have to find their way in different times but it was so satisfying to see the moments when they connected, whether through magic or physically. Taly and Skye's relationship stay as true as can be, which is really nice because it wouldn't been an unnecessary drama to add to the whole situation.

I must admit Az drives me crazy, but I think she is meant to. We only experience her in bits and pieces through Taly's eyes. I can only imagine how Taly felt about her.

I only found the latest update in 2022 about Stephanie editing book 3 and I really really hope she sticks with it and finishes soff the series. I can't wait.

This is honestly one of the best series I've read lately and it was a big surprise. Yes, this is a love story, BUT the world building is really well done, the characters (side characters included) have a depth to them that is unusually thought through and, well, this is a fantasy series that is definitely worth reading. Ever for someone who is into fantasy but not so much into love stories. At least in my humble opinion.

I just loved the Tempris Series !
If you are a fan of SJM than this is exactly what you need to listen to next. It’s like Throne of Glass meets Crecent City and i am just obsessed with Elizabeth Evan’s voicing !
Perfect legs kicking banter, unfortunately no spice but still an emotional love story, amazing world building and twists and turns that make the plot compelling. Can’t wait for book 3 !
