I absolutely loved the first two books, so I had high expectations for this one. Unfortunately, it was really difficult to get through. The excessive spice scenes felt unnecessary and made the story harder to enjoy. On top of that, the plot felt scattered and lacked a strong, cohesive direction. I had been looking forward to this release for so long, which made the disappointment even greater.
