Ist die Version wirklich ungekürzt??? Dann hat sich bei der Überspielung anscheinend einiges verdünnisiert... ich war immer wieder irritiert, wenn es um Dinge ging (z.B., dass Andys Mann seine Ex getroffen und ihr nichts davon erzählt haben soll), die vorausgesetzt wurden, aber die ich nie mit bekommen habe - ! Auch finde ich den Plot sehr, sehr einfach gestrickt und schnell vorausschauend. Schade! Das kann W. besser!

I’m not really happy with the overall story. Laurel Lefkow did a great job, just like with the first book, but her voice can not make a not so interesting story better. There are parts that I like about the book, but too many times it just feels rushed. The first book also skipped month, but it fitted more. Here big changes happen so fast.

SPOILER ALELRT!

The last hour is my least favorite bit. Andy gets betrayed and I have to say it hurt me too. But did that really need to happen? I was hoping to see Miranda being enraged because she didn’t get what she wanted for once, but that never happened. I don’t want to spoil too much, but I never saw Andy as a divorced single mom. After all she went through in the first book I wanted her to have a happy marriage and get a child when it is planned.

let's start with the story... slow and a bit predictable with a girl that just let herself be patronized or just drown herself in non sense details. not exactly the "f. u " girl you left at the end of the previous book.
performance was not comparable with the previous book, despite the reader being the same. Emily got a British accent out of nowhere and Miranda lost hers and her "edge" at times. overall reading was less clear and more "chewy" than it was in the previous book.
