Best book in a while! A beautiful story which is also written just beautifully. I smiled, I laughed, I cried. The characters captured me and the descriptions of the settings make you feel like you are there as well. Julia Whelan is doing a wonderful wonderful job, I was impressed. Highly recommend this audio book.

Emily Henry and Julia Whelan, what an amazing combination. Loved every single minute of this book, such an honest and relatable story, I really "connected" with the characters. Would definitely recommend it to every Rom com enthusiast, such a heart lifting book.

Emily Henry & Julia Whelan, what a combo! I'd eagerly anticipated this new novel, and I was sorry every time I had to stop listening for, well, real life. Which is what this is about, in many ways - the choices others made before us, the consequences we have to live with, the fears that keep us from following our true desires, our visions. The realisation that being a grown-up doesn't mean you have it all figured out. The power of friendship. The fact that things change, all the time, and that while change can be scary, it's not necessarily a bad thing. And that there are constants, too, anchors, hands to hold on to along the way. The knowledge that we can create happy places more than once.
