I really enjoyed this audiobook. Well read, intricate and complex story, original characters, great spice and overall a well rounded experience. I especially enjoyed the darker and more serious setting compared to other Lee Winter romance novels I’ve listened to so far.

👉🏻 I’m sitting here, listening to Tchaikovsky, sipping my green tea and trying to review this incredible story. Lee Winter, you’ve done it again. You have transported me again into a story with amazing characters and twists. This is my fourth Lee Winter book, and seriously? It won’t be my last. Her way of giving depth to characters, flawed people who rise above themselves, is truly incredible. Even more exciting is that her stories are all entirely different. It’s like she reinvents herself every time.

💡 But back to “Requiem for Immortals”. At the beginning of the book, I immediately got introduced to the plot. It really gets going right away. At first, I thought, “Ok. Wow, what’s happening?!” but it wouldn’t be Lee Winter if it didn’t make total sense at the end. I don’t want to go into the plot too much, because I’m afraid I’d be taking away too much. You have to dive into the world of “Requiem” and enjoy the ride. Some scenes are explicitly very detailed. But it wasn’t bothering me at all. In fact, it helped me to immerse myself in the story even more.

♥️ This review reads like a tribute to Lee Winter. And that is a good thing. Because when an author carries me away again and again with so many stories, then she deserves it. Thank you—Now I have even fallen in love with an assassin as well.
