This was such a fantastic surprise. The two main characters have intricate layers to them that draws you in immediately and has you root for them from the first chapter of the book. As always Abby Craden does a fantastic job with the narration giving each character their very own personality through her voice. If you love fantasy this is a book for you.

I adore this book, the characters and their developments are sublime, one moment you bask in the joy of two lovers and in the other, the tension about what's going to happen keeps bound to this app.

If you crave lesbian love romance, fantasy full of fabled beings (especially shifters), and an adoring story full of danger with two sweethearts exploring each other via mind, soul and body in the most spectacular fashion, then this book is for you.

Amazing performance by Abby Craden and thanks Emily Noon for making my dreams of a (at times dark) lesbian fantasy novel into reality! 11/10

Well, from time to time there is a book that draws you in. This phantasy book is one of these. The shapeshifter story is wonderfully created, the characters have a marvellous backstory and there is a dragon. Won’t be the only time I have listened to it.

Narration: This Audiobook is narrated by Abby Craden. She, like always, does a fantastic job. Her voice is perfect for this kind of story.

With ebook and audible I started the book with 642 pages. The description of the world, the environment, the people, plants and animals appealed to me exactly. Some might say that the thoughts of the two main characters are described again and again, but for me, it was absolutely right. If I hadn't also had the audiobook from Audible, I would have missed a lot of details that I would have skipped when reading fast. Therefore, the combination was optimal for me.

So if you like shapeshifter stories (wolves, dragons, tigers, beasts) and suspense (who wants to harm Evie?), you will get your money's worth with this book.

Beautiful multilayered story, such a great setting, characters and twists of action, I would have loved to listen 20 more hours! I can't wait to hear more from the author!
