This was my first shapeshifter book. I am amazed of the creativity to think of this storyline. In my opinion the main plot is about the shapeshifters and the secondary plot is the love story with themes like cat lover and opposits attract. I was captured by the story from the beginning on. The story is quite long but time flew by while following the exciting story.

Narration: The narration is dine by Abby Craden and was superb. Very vivid and good sound quality.

Pretty promising world building, but for my taste a bit pale characters. Didn‘t really feel the connection between the main characters.
But entertaining nonetheless. So, thanks for sharing!

This was my first lesbian romantic fantasy book and it was really interesting to see differences in the portrayal of the relationship and of the main characters, the „lesbian gaze“. I also liked the story, it has a feel good vibe and is exciting without ever giving you heart ache. Looking forward to more!

Loved every minute

I really liked the idea of this book. Griffin trying to snoop around in the life of the very closed of Jory.
The book about a romance novel author, who writes a book about a woman falling in love with a shapeshifter, and falls in love with the shapeshifter herself. Funny!

But at some points it went just to far for me. It took ages. The characters don't fall out of their habits. They really do things they should do or say unless they must. I wanted to pound a little more fierceness into them.

Ich bin wieder einmal begeistert davon wie gut diese geniale Autorin es schafft, mich in Hochstimmung zu versetzen 😄.
Tolle Storyline, nachvollziehbare Handlungen, witzige, gefühlvolle und auch ernste Konversationen wie in allen Büchern von Jae 🥰
Ich liebe diese Bücher! Happy Endings liebe ich auch 😁..
Dieses Buch enthält wieder tolle Charaktere und eine prima Liebesgeschichte. Meine innere Kinoleinwand war sehr erfreut! Endlich wieder ein richtig guter Fantasy Roman aus einer meiner Lieblingsfedern mit starken Frauen und mit Logik.
Abby Cradens Stimme passt auch hier wieder perfekt 🥰. Der Hauptgrund, warum ich die Bücher lieber auf Englisch höre 😅
Ich kann es kaum erwarten, weitere Bücher aus dieser Reihe zu konsumieren 🤩 Bitte niemals aufhören mit Schreiben Jae! 🌈✨☀️
