    Inhaltsangabe

Morgan Ashworth isn't having a good day. The award for Minion of the Year is slipping out of reach, and she has to administer an afterlife package to one of her human employees. An employee she's attracted to. An employee who'll soon know Morgan isn't quite what she seems.

Jane Smith was having a great day. Until her hot boss dropped a bombshell. It's time for Jane to complete the questionnaire to decide where she'll spend her afterlife. Oh, and her boss is immortal and also Death's Head Minion. Yes, Death, as in the Grim Reaper.

    Interessant

Ist diesmal ein etwas anderes Konzept, aber durchaus sehr interessant. Könnte ich mehr davon vertragen. Sprecherin wieder überragend.

Jane is such an unlikeable person

What the title says. I already had a problem with her extorting her boss because she felt entitled to the time of her boss, but when Jane went and accused Morgan of having never had hardships the story died for me. Yes, Janes ist pitiable, but she is also an immense egoist with a bitter personality.

    Funny, sexual and kitschy

Wow, this reminded me of a very good fanfiction. There are mainly four characters in this book, so it's not difficult to entangle any character constellations. It's easy to listen to (I'm not a native speaker) and I enjoyed it a lot. The main topics are I'd say "living to the fullest", "love" and "death", I do like this mixture.
Though the end was.. well, I don't want to spoiler but the four (and not five) stars are due to the end. I wish I could explain further...

I can highly recommend it if you like explicit descriptions of lesbian love making.

    Beautiful Death!

This is an absolutely amazing audiobook with an extraordinary story.
    E.J.Noyes is a Genius!
This whole story and concept of Death, the Minions of Death and the Humans knowing about their existence was so fresh and a not freighting way of looking for the after life and death itself.
    It‘s brilliant.
If you don’t listen to the audiobook, which would be a shame because Abby Craden is a again the most perfect Narrator, you have to read this Book!
I loved Morgen from the start. She‘s really funny in a British subtle way, that i had to laugh out loud many times. But also Jane and CC...all the characters in this story are so lovable.
I had a really great time hearing Death talking!
