It's great that the sequel novella "Change of pace" is included in this audio book.
And Abby Craden did a wonderful narration.

When I was at chapter 3 only and 2 out of three, they were about Dawn and Aiden again, it wasn't such a good start... I was so relieved when the first book was over and I could finally learn more about Kade and Del!
While I like that Jae's secondary characters are well developed and likeable, and I do apreciate that they're not forgotten in the story, it's a bit much. The story in itself is well thought thorough and there was suspense until the end.
However, the overwhelming presence of Dawn and Aidan continues thoughout the whole book. Don't get me wrong, the story around the ice queen Kade and Del is great. They are beautiful complex characters and I would so loved to have more of them. There are easily four or five sex scenes of Dawn and Aiden, but only - admittedly hot- kissing scene and one sex scene of Kade and Del. The thing that I found downright disturbing was that Kade's first time is followed by scene of Dawn and Aiden making love. Ugh! Such a mood killer!
All in all I think that the book would have been a lot better and more exciting and sexy if it had really concentrated on Kade and Del. I'm left really disappointed.
