It kept me up for several nights in a row, I got totally stupid from lack of sleep (i.e., even stupider than usual).
I liked the ending, too—Alexis Hall is a good writer after all! I was starting to lose faith in them because they put out a lot of stuff I didn’t like lately.
Finally, someone addressed the topic of faith and homosexuality without resolving it instantly with a “love wins” gesture! It’s as if this conflict doesn’t exist these days, but it does—the pressure to conform is still there, and the diversity and otherness we have to live with is still there, and it’s definitely not “love wins, happily ever after.” Except in pulp fiction, hehehe
