I enjoyed the book especially because of the main characters flaws. Too often main characters are perfect little snowflakes. Luke is in a bad state, he's mean and he fucks up. But he gets better and learns to do better. It just feels more real that way.

Such a really, really great book. Great portrayal of the characters, which really have a lot of depth. Funny and full of emotions, that's why I already listened to it several times. Highly recommend.

the narrator is amazing, the Story is amazing and the whole book is f-ing amazing.
the author describes emotionslos so eloquently and utilises words in a beautiful manner, so that not only is the Reader satisfied by the beauty of the Story but as well the beauty of the words.

One of the best books i have heard in a long time

The story is totally banal, but there are so many geek jokes and British jokes, and British geek jokes in this book, that it almost explodes :)))) I laughed myself black and blue and purple on it. The characters are really funny, and the situations too, not to mention the main characters constant sarcastic comments on himself.

The narrator is amazing, you can SEE the different characters through their voices. I think this added to the experience a lot.

Totally recommend it. But dont listen to it at night! I warn you! My complete household woke up, including kid, dog and parrot, because I had to laugh out loud all the time.

Tatsächlich war es nicht das typische 0815 Hörspiel mit homosexuellen Protagonisten. Stattdessen war es tiefgründige Geschichte über das Erwachsenwerden, schwierige Eltern, Selbstliebe und den eigenen Weg finden. Klar, gab es auch etwas Liebe, aber es ging viel mehr um zwei Charaktere, die beide mit ihrem Leben und sich selbst nicht zufrieden sind. Sehr schöne Geschichte, die sich wirklich hervorhebt :)
P.S. Ich liebe den Sprecher. Er hat die Stimmen auf eine angenehme Weise verstellt und abgesehen von Cam zu Beginn, mochte ich jede Variation. Zudem war die Stimme sehr beruhigend.
