Jory Keyes leads a normal life as an architect’s assistant until he is witness to a brutal murder. Mir gefallen die Matter of Time Bücher von Mary Calmes sehr gut.
Der Sprecher ist gut zu verstehen.
Das einzige Manko für mich ist tatsächlich die musikalische Einleitung der Kapitel. Die finde ich störend.

Mary Calmes contemporary books nearly always have him: the so pretty, funny, lovable guy. The one everybody falls for, gay men want thim as lover, straight women want him either as best friend or to adopt him (depends on age) and even straight men do feel his pull.
Jory is this guy. And he is really lovable. Does the book really have any realistic action? Weeeell, maybe but no...I wouldn't say so. But it's so entertaining that it doesn't matter ;)

Was I drawn in like any other person? Yes...sucked in, fell head over heels in love with Jory and...bum...even Sam (after he got himself sorted out).

A word about the narrator: Paul Morey is one of my favorite narrators so he made listening to it even better.

These includes the first two books af a series and as a word of caution...you want to buy the next books, too.

Realistic? No! Funny? Yes! Typical Calmes? Oh yes

The plot is great. I love the characters.

Unfortunately the author also wrote them very unrealistically. No one fawns over one person that much.

Plus the story often veers off into totally unnecessary plot. And the boring not plot related parts make up 80% of the story.

In addition the writing is bad. Compared to professional authors like Nora Roberts or Candace Camp, this author cannot hold a candle.

A woman without experience telling us that hurting gay sex is normal and OK.

Don't buy this. Don't let anyone tell you that violence and pain during sex is typical. If it hurts someone is doing it wrong.
