Am relevantesten

I really like the Kate Daniels' Series, the characters develop and the world building is good. My only gripe is that the performer is using a breathy, quivering voice that sounds like she is about to start crying every time the story gets a little more dramatic when is is speaking as Kate. Which is often. I am fine with reflecting the heightened drama in the narrators voice even to the point where her voice sounds as if she is breaking. But not in several hours of a 15hr audiobook. It makes it really hard to listen to, especially as in later books, the overall drama and stakes keep rising.
