Brilliant new instalment, tense, gripping, emotional and at times funny. In hindsight, if one listens carefully, there are a lot of hints as to where this could (potentially) be going, but the end is nevertheless a complete bombshell. Michael Wood is an extremely talented, versatile writer and irrespective of whether one likes Mathilda and the team, the characters, including the reoccurring supporting characters, are very well sketched out and their development is credible. Watch out, this is quite emotional and the ending, ie the who, will be with me for some time. Brilliant book and good intro for the next instalment!
