Shocking and gripping
Really well written, shocking and moving. It is also very well performed - the reader brings over the regional accents well without them sounding synthetic, exaggerated or grating - not many readers can. Based on a true story - it left me desperately praying that the police, the judicial and the prison systems have moved on since then.

Very moving and touching, yet gripping
Very well written and spoken. Cried my eyes out at the end. I really liked that you wouldn’t now what really happened from the beginning, like most books working with these false accusations-stories.

Law and order with a twist
Fighting for a wrongfully accused young man, police and lawyers join forces against corruption. Emotional and surprising in parts. Enjoyable listen.

Gripping but sad story
The story about the falsely accused Anthony is sometimes hard to digest. The cruelty of the murder he's been accused of and also the cruelty of him being imprisoned and treeted badly for years is so sad. But there are people who believe in his innocence and fight for him for more than a decade. Finally the truth comes to light but it's not what we were hoping for...
Based on a true crime this gives a lot to think about.
The narrator does a great job, it was very pleasant to listen to her doing different voices.
Now I need to find something to cheer me up again...
