It takes a bit to get into it, but then you start feeling the main character and the struggles she gets through. Her persistence is remarkable and makes the story gripping!

Endlich mal wieder ein Hörbuch zum ,drin versinken' - bis zum Schluss gibt es immer wieder neue Infos - der Hörer ist nicht weiter als die Kommissarin informiert. Top! Freue mich auf die nächste Erica Foster.

Sehr spannende Geschichte kurzweilig erzählt. Toller britischer Akzent der Sprecherin. Ein unterhaltsamer Krimi. Schöner Sprachstil. Ich werde mir den nächsten Krimi ebenfalls anhören.

I loved the plot and the setting of the story around London. I am looking forward to the next book. I also loved the way it was read with esch character having their own touch and even one very authentic eastern accent.

Great story and very versatile voice

The story is too slow. Actually I was not sure if this is the story about social work in London, the British class differences, animosity in an office, or a crime. (I will never find out as I´m going to give back this title, it is too boring).
The way the story is read is even worse. in a fairy tale intonation, with an overdone British accent, the tone totally inappropriate for the subject. The worst part was when the thoughts of the killer are read as if this was some rosy love story.
For all these reasons I will never know who the killer really was (I stopped after 3 h of listening), but I suspect the end will be unsurprising.
