I stopped listening halfway into this book. The main character is supposed to be a master assassin who is selected by a God to be his personal assassign in another world. According to Wikipedia "Assassination is the willful killing, by a sudden or secret attack." By this definition, the main character is a terrible assassin. On one occasion he literally walks into a full tavern, starts a shouting match with the guy he plans to kill, then kills the body guards of his mark in front of everybody, before he tortures the victim for information. He had frequented this tavern (using his real name) several times in the previous days, including long conversations with the barkeep. There is nothing secret or sudden about this approach. More importantly, it is not interesting to read. I don't mind evil main characters, but this guy is just a bully who relies on overpowered skills and bores the reader with self-important monologues about his 'principles' that seem completely arbitrary.
