Über diesen Titel
Some things are better than chocolate.... Molly O'Brien is a sweetheart. Her friends and neighbors all think so. While she enjoys her quiet life running the town bakeshop in Applewood, Illinois, she wonders if there could be more.
After losing the love of her life four years prior in a plane crash, Molly thinks she's ready to navigate the dicey dating waters once again. However, you can't always pick who your heart latches on to. When Jordan Tuscana, the beautiful younger sister of her lost love, returns to town, Molly finds her interest piqued in a manner for which she wasn't prepared. As secrets are uncovered, Molly and Jordan must figure out how to navigate the difficult terrain of their multifaceted relationship - especially when something much deeper seems to be bubbling between them.

That's what love can do.
I loved how Molly finally stood up for the person she now loves and their relationship.
And how later the city stood up for her and Flourchild. And there is so much more.
The narrator is great, her voice is so versatile.

Really enjoyed it
4 stars. This was a great feelgood book.
Molly O'Brien owns the family bakery in small town of Applewood and still mourns the love of her life, Cassie, who died four years ago in a tragic accident.
She has finally decided to date again that she stumbles upon Jordan, Cassie's younger sister who disappeared to the big city upon Cassie's death. Molly is happy to have her back because Jordan used to be a good friend.
Jordan is Cassie's polar opposite. She is the wild and creative girl in the family, a film producer, and she could never live up to the bar her older sister set for her. As it happens, Jordan has always been interested in Molly, but would never have made a pass. Now that Molly is free, we see that Jordan is very much afraid of being only second best.
I won't say much more as not to give away the plot, but let's just say it's a ride. The book is quite long and it took me a while to get into Jordan's character. In the beginning I thought her insensitive to Molly's feelings, but as the story progressed, I could see that they really made the perfect couple and how this wasn't only perfect for Jordan but also for Molly. Both mains and also the secondary characters were well crafted and super likeable.
I really enjoyed the story.
