Ich hab mittlerweile schon viele Bücher von Jae gelesen und mir gefielen bisher alle. Auch dieses hier war in meinen Augen wieder ein Meisterwerk. Elli und Regina auf ihrer gemeinsamen Reise zu begleiten hat wirklich Spaß gemacht. Für mich steht fest: Jae ist definitiv meine Lieblingsautorin in diesem Genre.

Natürlich hat auch Lori Prince wieder eine Glanzleistung hingelegt, wie nicht anders zu erwarten. Sie ist ebenfalls eine meiner Top Sprecherinnen.

Sehr schönes Buch. Kann ich jedem empfehlen👌🏻🫶🏻

Jae ist einfach die Beste

A wonderful slow burn romance, I loved every minute. You know right away how the story will end but while the MCs need quite some time to get there the story never felt unnecessarily prolonged. Both MCs have their issues from the past and work to overcome them but here again it's believable and not just constructed to create some angst.

The story feels "round" to me. I loved the characters and the banter between them. The side characters also fit in naturally. You don't get to know them deeply but Jae knows how to artfully weave them in with few words so they aren't strangers to you. (OK, if you read all of Jae's books you know some of them pretty good. ;-) )

This may not be a great heart wrenching story but for me it is a perfect fit, cosy despite all angst and it will get one of the front places in my go-to library! Thank you for that, Jae.

Lori Price again did a great job, too!

After I „read“ (Audiobook) 20 other books from Jae in can highlight recommend this one as well. This book has a great slow-burn storyline that doesn’t feel dragged out at all. The backstories are good and you always want to know more about the characters. Who’s hoping for a crossover from previous books won’t be let down :-)
Lorie Prince does a great Job and any criticism just because she is my no. 3 and not no. 1 would not be fair!

The storyline is ok. Not 100% my cup of tea but well worth reading.
Unfortunately, Lori Prince manages to ruin the audiobook again with her poor performance. There are so many great speakers out there. Abby Craden, Angela Dawe, Tanya Eby: just to name a few. Why would anyone choose Lori Prince to read their book?!
