Lovely sweet story, relatable, liked it and listened to the end.
But honestly, this American, ultra-PC way of asking your lover every 5 minutes, if sth you do „is ok“ and: „please agree by saying Yes“, is so utterly ridiculous for a European, making me fall out of the mood as reader (and would make me stand up and leave as lover).

I really enjoyed this book, the Story was amazing and not really predictable like most books. The reader also did an amazong job, giving all the characters different voices that you can really seperate. I recommend it if you like slow burn love or so!!

I absolutely adored the book and narration. The characters were adorable and their sweet story had a delightful bit of spice at the end.

The story is nothing impressive, but it is a swee, predictablet one. I did not start the book expecting to be surprised, nor did I wait for a plot twist. The narrator is familiar to me, love her voice and performance. However, and that’s why the low star review, I was severely disappointed by this audiobook: anybody who’s spent more than two minutes chatting with any LLM will pick up how this was at least in large parts written by AI. Certain sentences and phrases are so typical of AI’s writing ‘style’ that I am surprised no one has caught it and pointed it out yet. I hope that at least the narrator is human (at this point, you can really hardly ever tell), but honestly… ? This is probably the only sapphics that did not manage to catch / keep my interest even during the spicier parts. I want to give the author the benefit of the doubt and believe the story itself came from someone\s genuine ideas, as well as the character development… but anything else? Definitely Ai. Pity
