Ich mag die Charaktere sehr, vor allem Dora! interessante fantasy Welt mit spannendem plot.

This book is a warm tea on an cool, brezzy day. Some books are objectively delightful, well-written, even charming… but they just don’t hit you the way you want. It’s fast to start (which I loved), the third-person POV works great, and the central cousin relationship felt surprisingly tender. I think this book is solid, the story flows very well, there are no unnecessary scences, characters grow and others stay the same is a good way. I just missed something that I cannot describe; maybe it was Dora’s emotional flatness (part of the plot, but still) may have made it hard to fully feel with her.

I picked it up after hearing this is a faeri version of "pride & predjudice", but that wasnt it at all.
Leaving this assumption aside, it feels like a low-stake faerie regency story. But having a main character that has low emotions, is difficult to follow. The story does it well, but you need to expect this.

Really enjoyed this audio book. The story is good, the characters are charming and special and the reader has a nice accent I like to listen to.
