the story is fine, the characters are nice, not too much unnecessary drama. the narrator made it wat better. I sure I would have dnf'd it, without her.

The story is very sweet and a bit slow, but if you like found family and slow-burn, then this might be for you. There is a lot of dealing with depression, so beware if that's something you can't handle, but it is very realistic and relatable, with a happy enough ending.

Predictable in some ways, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. If you’re looking for a cosy found family story, this is the right one.
