Inhaltsangabe
In business, performance is key. In performance, how you organize can be the key to growth. In the past five years, the business world has seen the birth of a new breed of company - the Exponential Organization - that has revolutionized how a company can accelerate its growth by using technology. An ExO can eliminate the incremental, linear way traditional companies get bigger, leveraging assets like community, big data, algorithms, and new technology into achieving performance benchmarks 10 times better than its peers. Three luminaries of the business world - Salim Ismail, Yuri van Geest, and Mike Malone - have researched this phenomenon and documented 10 characteristics of Exponential Organizations. Here, in Exponential Organizations, they walk the listener through how any company, from a startup to a multinational, can become an ExO, streamline its performance, and grow to the next level.

Good information, a bit absolutistic
Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?
The book is very informative and gives insight in many organization with a (potentially) bright future.
Unfortunately, the second half of the book becomes a bit tedious: a mere narration of some successful stories. Moreover, in my opinion, the reasons that are given in the book for the success of an existing "exponential orgorganization" is too absolutistic and may not be the correct one.
In general I would anyway reccomend this book, because of the several mind-opening facts and explanations.

From linear thinking to XO's -Mind-blowing!
This is a fantastic book to augment one's thinking about the future, from business to social aspects. Anyone who is interested in the exponential ideas that Salim describes, will love this book and the thoughts it triggers!

When a company like Uber connects drivers with passengers, everybody wins - except traditional cab companies, which are scrambling to survive.

In his provocative new book, Dr. Kai-Fu Lee - one of the world’s most respected experts on artificial intelligence - reveals that China has suddenly caught up to the US, the leader in AI, at an astonishingly rapid pace.
