Viele der möglichen Auswirkungen des skizzierten technisch/wissenschaftlichen Fortschritts sind in ihrer Radikalität auch beängstigend. Dennoch vermag es das Buch einen optimistischen Blick auf die Chancen zu vermitteln. Besonders angenehm ist dabei, dass die Autoren auf platte "Silcon-Valley-Euphorie" ebenso wie auf dystopische Horrorszenarien verzichten - so bleibt es durchgehend anregend und spannend.

It's pretty much a list of the current highest evolvement in technology and a solid forecast where it will lead to. It is a well done book to bring your technology-worldview up to date, that probably gets outdated quickly ;-)
