If you even somewhat liked the first part of this series I can only recommend you to continue with this implementation of the series. I think the good parts are kept and some of the anoying characteristics of some of the characters are finally lost towards the end.

Andrea Parsneau is as great as usual.

The storytelling here.... Not so much.... Pretty much everything good from the first book gets dropped and the tedious parts get emphasized.

I am half in to the book and it's pretty much just absolutely repetitive PG-13 harem building, the MC yelling while doing exactly the things he yells at people for and the MC standing on his soap box complaining about the injustices, that he, you guessed it, goes then on to commit himself.

So yeah.... Unfortunately here ends my journey in to the veil verse.
