On top of that, the voice acting is very high quality, with two narrators that actually try to express the different characters as they are described.
However,
as stated in the title, there is a lot of NSFW content and at times the book feels more like a cheap erotic novel. That and the weird focus on harem-building and polyamorous relationships being portrayed as almost unproblematic (I mean the problems inside such a relationship, such as jealousy, favouritism and feelings of insecurity/not being enough) made me cringe a whole lot while listening.
Without it, it would have easily been worth 5* and if smut and harem building isn't something to make you discard the book outright, I recommend checking it out.
If you however can't deal with smut and get an urge to vomit every time the narration swaps to sometimes overly flowery descriptions of explicit sexual content, do yourself the favour and forget about this book🙄
Very interesting story and world building, but an awful lot of smut

This story is well thought out, has a depth that was suprising even when you start out like me... listening and making up your mind early on... i like the different view on a system while providing accessable and known elements.
Again it is not a masterclass, BUT... a big BUT here, the novel entertainment in having two very different well mashing ppl as a duo voicecast and the quallity of the female voice leaves me almost as much in awe as the voicer from "all the Skills".
I am in book 3 now and am eager to listen to more. I do not see this changing any time soon.
(1 point of critic i think the writer forgot some plotlines in favor for a more descriptive sex scene... (1 or 2 xD) that would have been nice to have played out. (since the study problems are NONE existent... I would have liked a longer and more problematic start with the problems that were describt early on instead of a hardlock on relationship problems... headmistress and her distaste as well as NO problem to form a party point.)
For everyone that thinks of buying this... this is a good book heavily focused on harem relationship problems that play in a normal litrpg setting. so if you are awaiting a well written deep isekai or rpg storyline like defiance of the fall, you are in the wrong place.
But it is an intuitive, funny and emotional deep story.
it IS a good story.
