I don’t know where the bad reviews come from!
Sure the focus in this book is the real world, but that doesn’t mean it’s not exciting and Cat‘s character is developing further and getting more depth.
And this isn’t the last book of the Tower of Somnus!
The third is already available on Audible and the 4th should be at Royal Road! 😉

Worth listening to!

Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Bitte versuche es in ein paar Minuten noch einmal.
Der Autor scheint seinen Fokus auf den Tower verloren zu haben, sehr schade. Es wird nur noch teilweise und eher oberflächlich über den Fortschritt, Fähigkeiten und Co. berichtet. Hinzu kommt noch, dass kein Zug mehr dahinter ist und sich das ganze immer mehr im Fokus um das normale Leben dreht. Und dort geht es weiter.. Wo sind die Player, die schon seit Jahren im Tower leveln und mega Fähigkeiten entwickelt haben müssten? Ihre Teammitglieder im Tower als auch im RL sind vermeintliche Profis und doch werden dumme Fehler gemacht. Sehr ärgerlich, hat/hatte viel Potenzial.

the explanations about how and why the character lands in situations or why they act certain ways mostly feels like the author is talking "at" you to defend or justify whatever is going on
