This one was the first without the second epilogue, and a very short first one. It was nonetheless beautiful, and I did enjoy this storyline just as mu ch as the others. It was slightly different in that it was less adventurous and more descriptive as the others, which fit the characters very well! Love the series.

No idea how the author thought this love interest would be received, but he is in no way likeable. Rude, downright mean, and abusive. The attempts to humanize him and make us fall in love with him fell flat. Only good thing about the story was Eloise & the kids, and the world building.

Es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht, der Geschichte von Philipp und Eloise zu lauschen!

Not my favorite Bridgerton book so far, but it is well read. I liked the less than perfect children of Sir Phillip, which add extra interest to the story. Reading between the lines Sir Phillip's character, however, is not really as great as he is portrayed.

Another exciting story about the Bridgerton family. Loved it! Rosalyn Landor is fantastic. How she reads in different voices! Fitting the occasions. I admire her tremendously.

Amazing read!

The story has less back and forth than usual, but still doesn't lose its charm. Even if the story is a fictionalised story, it's still set in a different era in which different rules applied than nowadays. I was able to empathise with the characters, understand their actions and behaviour and I was always happy to be able to continue listening to the story. Many thanks to the speaker. She does an excellent job! I really enjoyed the epilogue, too.

Similar to the other Bridgerton stories, but I love these stories for that!

Long drawn out story line. Like most other characters in the Bridgerton novels the characters remain painfully timid and dull. No match compared to their Netflix counterparts. Shame.

Mir persönlich gefällt nicht, wie die Sprecherin die männlichen Charaktere spricht. Ich hatte nicht das Gefühl in den Szenen drin zu sein.

Für mich ist der männliche Hauptcharakter überhaupt nicht sympathisch und ich kann nicht verstehen warum der weibliche Hauptcharakter diesen heiraten würde und sich das Ganze gefallen lassen kann.
