Took me a while to get used to the multiple POVs but all came together very cleverly at the end.

Good but not as good as original trilogy

First off: DEFINETLY recommended! This book is still above average!
There are a few flaws though, which make it slightly worse than the last ones imo.
1.: While I love all the new characters (and most narrators), I think that Lysanders narrator is plain boring: No intonation, no pauses, no feeling. Even when great or terrible things happen, it is read in the same way as eating a sandwhich would be read. I get that that is in a way Lysanders thing, but damn it can get boring after a while.
2.: All the drama, less of the action: Dont get me wrong, there are still a few nailbiters in here. But we are also fed the traumatic (back)stories of FOUR characters now instead of one. It makes this book really dark at times, from a mood perspective (and keep in mind that this is compared to the other ones xD)
3.: The rest is small fry^^

I thoroughly enjoyed the contents of the book, I feel the story stays true to what the original trilogy intended.
I must say, however, that lyrias voice actor, especially, made me seriously want to quit listening to the book at times.
She delivers her lines (quite literally any and all of them) in an overly emotional manner to a point at which it feels almost ridiculous and gets truly hard to listen to.
A brutal interrogation conducted by stone cold Warlord killers just shouldn't sound like the interrogators are right about to burst into streaming tears t any given moment.
More than once I found myself quitting the app because it became too much for me to bear. No personal insult intended, of course, though I believe a wildly bad choice was made for the actress here, perhaps solely for her Irish accent.
TGR was splendid as always, eph was great, as well. And while many consider Lysander's actor to be too emotionless, I believe it fits his persona, hence I took no issue with his narration, either.

Die Geschichte war zwar weiterhin spannend, aber hat unter den wechselnden Sprechern gelitten. Aedin Moloney's überdramatisierter Part war einfach nicht zu ertragen.

As most reviews have pointed out. The story, is outstanding, well written and worth your time. However... the new style of voice over is aggrivating to a point I could no longer listen. The first three books were lovely to listen to but these are done differently with 4 different voices, 2 of which are unbearable. The woman uses so much exaggeration it's unbearable, another whispers into the mic or talks much too loud, forcing you to actively adjust the volume based on the sentence. together they render the audio unbearable.
It saddens me quite a lot because I love these books and the story but it's impossible to enjoy the audio.
Please redo it if any possible!
